Spring Retreat 2022

Everything is in place for our Synod Spring Retreat – the speaker is booked, the venue is booked.  All that is needed is for YOU to be there!

The Synod Spring Retreat will be from lunch on Tuesday, 8 March until mid-morning on Thursday, 10 March.

Kathy Galloway from the Iona Community is coming to lead our Retreat – we haven’t given her a theme, and so far she hasn’t let us know of one, so it will be a surprise!

We will be staying at the lovely, peaceful retreat house at Shepherds Dene, near Riding Mill where the surroundings are beautiful, the rooms, beds and sofas are comfy and the food is lovely.  What more could you want?

As previous years, full grant support is available for all who belong to the URC, whether lay or ordained.  And if you’re one of those who reads this newsletter from outside the URC, you can have a grant too if you’re coming for the first time.  If you’re paying for yourself, the cost for the two days full board is £177.

Places are limited and en-suite rooms are even more limited.

So book now to avoid disappointment.
