Ruth Crofton, a retired minister in our Synod, is leading a number of retreats over the course of this year at The Sanctuary in Darlington.
Each retreat day includes input from the leader, and time to reflect in quietness
Space at The Sanctuary is limited, so you are advised to book early
The Sanctuary is a large Victorian house located in a quiet private road, just minutes from Darlington town centre, with views across the garden to the mature trees beyond. Situated just behind the A167, two miles from junction 58 on the A1, and 1 mile from Darlington train station.
The Sanctuary is owned and run by Hazel and Judith, two committed Christians led by God some years ago to open a Christian retreat & counselling centre. The house is available for groups and for individuals needing ‘time out’ in its peaceful atmosphere; there are two large lounges, both overlooking the garden, a prayer room and the garden itself.
